Ground beef stroganoff
Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 1/2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- water - 1 c
- chopped onion - 1/3 c
- ground beef - 1 lb
- can mushroom stems and pieces
- hot buttered noodles - 1 item
- Heinz 57 sauce - 1/3 c
How to make ground beef stroganoff:
Drain mushrooms, reserving liquid. Brown the meat, mushrooms and onion in the butter or shortening. Stir in flour and salt. Add mushroom liquid, water and the Heinz 57 sauce. Stir well. Simmer 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in sour cream. SeRecipe categories: Main dish, Ground beef, Stew.
