Ingredients/Components
- water - 2 qt
- cider vinegar - 1 qt
- clove garlic - 1 item
- stalk celery - 1 item
- pickling salt - 1/2 c
- hot pepper - 1 item
- dill weed or 2 Tbsp - 1 fresh
- small green tomatoes
How to make green tomato pickles:
Wash tomatoes with stem on. Put in quart jars. To each quart jar, add 1 clove garlic, 1 stalk celery, 1 hot pepper and 1 head fresh dill, 1 teaspoon dill weed or 2 tablespoons dill seed. Combine remaining ingredients. Bring to full boil and fill jars to 1/2-inch from top. Adjust lids.
