Ingredients/Components
- garlic powder - 2 Tbsp
- grated cheese
- medium onion - 1 item
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- whole chicken - 1 item
- corn tortillas - 1 item
- can diced green chiles - 1 oz
- to 5 stalks celery - 4 item
- creamed soups: mushroom, celery, chicken - 1 item
How to make green chili chicken:
Boil chicken with celery, onion, salt, pepper and garlic powder. Cool and pull off of bones. Line a large casserole dish with corn tortillas. Make a broth by combining the three soups with some of the chicken broth. Top the tortillas with shredded chicken, green chiles, grated cheese and broth. Layer until full, ending with broth mixture and grated cheese. Bake at 325° to 350° until bubbly.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, Chicken breast.
