Ingredients/Components
- water - 3 Tbsp
- oil - 1 item
- soy sauce - 1 tsp
- bread crumbs - 1 item
- sesame oil
- or 2 eggs - 1 item
- water or as needed - 1 Tbsp
- pinch of ground ginger - 1 item
- or 2 eggs, beaten - 1 item

- sake or sherry - 1 Tbsp
- sake or wine - 2 Tbsp
- to 6 chicken thighs or 1 breast, pound flat - 4 item
- green onions, cut into 2 or 3-inch lengths and sliced into thin strips - 4 item
- Drain the chicken
How to make golden chicken:
Marinade:1 tsp. sesame oil1 tsp. soy sauce1 Tbsp. sake or sherry pinch of ground ginger1 Tbsp. water or as needed1 or 2 eggs Pound chicken flat and marinate in the marinade for 20 minutes. Drain the chicken. In a bowl, beat together 1 or 2 eggs. In a heavy skillet or Dutch oven, add enough oil to cover the bottom. Bring it to medium heat. Dip chicken into egg mixture and into a bowl of bread crumbs. Fry until golden brown. Cut the green onions and place some on top of the chicken. Pour over onion and chicken the sauce.Sauce:1/2 tsp. salt or soy sauce2 Tbsp. sake or wine3 Tbsp. water dash of m. s. g.
