Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- granulated sugar - 1 item
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- baking soda - 2 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- shortening - 3/4 c
- molasses - 1/4 c
- ginger - 1 Tbsp
How to make gingersnaps:
Mix first 5 ingredients. Beat shortening until creamy. Add sugar gradually. Beat in egg and molasses. Mix in 1/4 of flour mixture. Repeat until all flour is added. Roll into small balls. Roll in sugar. Bake 12 minutes at 350°.Recipe categories: Desserts, Drop cookies, Cookie and brownie.
