- salt - 1/4 tsp
- egg, slightly beaten - 1 item
- baking soda - 3 tsp
- shortening - 3/4 c
- ginger - 1 tsp
- sifted flour - 2 c
- cloves - 1 tsp
- light molasses - 1/4 c
- sugar, divided
How to make ginger crinkles:
Sift flour, soda, salt and spices; set aside. In a large bowl, use electric mixer at medium speed and gradually add 1 cup sugar to the shortening, creaming until light and fluffy.
