German potato salad
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 2 tsp
- flour - 1 Tbsp
- water - 2/3 c
- vinegar - 1/4 c
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- chopped onion - 2 Tbsp
- bacon drippings - 1/4 c
- slices bacon, diced and browned - 4 item
- hard boiled egg - 1 item
- cold cubed potatoes - 4 c
- sprig of parsley - 1 item
- Pour dressing over potato mixture and mix to coat all
How to make german potato salad:
Place potatoes, onions, eggs and parsley in a greased casserole or baking pan. Pour dressing over potato mixture and mix to coat all. Heat oven to 350° and cook for 30 minutes. Serves 6 to 8.Dressing Preparation:1/4 c. sugar1/4 tsp. pepper1 Tbsp. flour1/4 c. vinegar2 tsp. salt2/3 c. water1/4 c. bacon drippings Combine sugar, flour, salt and pepper in top of double boiler.
