German chocolate pie
Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1/4 c
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- flaked coconut - 1/4 c
- stick margarine, melted and cooled - 1/2 item
- tall can evaporated milk - 1 item
- cocoa, dissolved in 1/4 c - 3 Tbsp
How to make german chocolate pie:
Beat eggs; add sugar, vanilla, flour, milk, margarine and cocoa. Fold in coconut and nuts. Batter will be thin, but thickens in baking. Bake in unbaked pie shell, 9 or 10-inch size, for 50 to 55 minutes at 350°.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
