Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- chocolate chips
- sifted flour
- margarine - 1 c
- light brown sugar - 2 c
- Eagle Brand milk - 1 c
- quick rolled oats - 3 c
How to make fudge nut bars:
Fudge Nut Filling:1 (12 oz.) chocolate chips1 c. Eagle Brand milk2 Tbsp. butter1/2 tsp. salt Preheat oven to 350°. Cream together margarine and brown sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. Add flour, baking soda, salt and oats. Spread about 2/3 of mixture in bottom of greased 15 x 10-inch jelly roll pan. Cover with chocolate filling mixture and dot with remaining oatmeal mixture. Bake in 350° oven for 25 to 30 minutes until lightly browned.Filling: Melt chocolate chips, Eagle Brand milk, butter and salt in microwave or on stove until smooth.
