  • eggs, beaten - 2 item
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • chopped nuts optional - 1 c
  • raisins - 1 c
  • chopped apples - 3 c

How to make fresh apple cake:

Combine oil, sugar and eggs. Add apples, raisins and nuts. Mix thoroughly. Add soda, salt, cinnamon and vanilla. Stir in flour until batter is very stiff. Bake in a greased and floured 10-inch tube pan at 350° for 1 hour.
