Fresh apple cake

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 2 c
• eggs - 3 item
• chopped pecans - 1 c
• salt - 1/4 Tbsp
• flour - 3 c
• soda - 1 tsp
• chopped apples - 3 c
• Wesson oil - 1 c
• vanilla flavor - 2 tsp

How to make fresh apple cake:

Mix sugar, oil and eggs. Add flour, soda and salt, sifted together. Then add vanilla, apples and nuts. Mix well and bake in an oblong or tube pan for 1 hour or until done.

Topping: Boil for 4 or 5 minutes, 1 cup brown sugar, 1/2 cup cream and 1 stick of margarine. Pour over cake while hot.
