Easy sausage balls
Ingredients/Components
- biscuit mix - 3 c
- sharp Cheddar cheese, grated - 10 oz
- hot pork sausage at room temperature - 1 lb
How to make easy sausage balls:
Crumble the sausage and mix with cheese. Add biscuit mix one cup at a time. Form into small balls about 1-inch in diameter and place on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in a preheated 350° to 375° oven until light brown (13 to 15 minutes). Makes 7 dozen.They can be prepared in advance and frozen uncooked. When ready to use just pop them in the oven and bake. Cooking may take a few extra minutes.
