  • nuts - 1 c
  • light brown sugar - 1 c
  • box yellow cake mix - 1 item
  • sticks melted butter or margarine - 2 item
  • large can cherry pie filling - 1 item
  • large can crushed pineapple, undrained - 1 item

How to make dump cake:

Grease 9 x 13-inch cake pan. Pour in pineapple and cherry pie filling. Sprinkle brown sugar over that. Pour cake mix on top of that, then add nuts. Pour melted butter over all. Cook at 325° for 50 to 60 minutes.
