Cucumber salad



Ingredients/Components
- milk - 2 tbs
- salt - 1 item
- lemon juice - 1 tsp
- olive oil - 4 Tbsp
- chopped fresh dill - 2 Tbsp
- ground cumin - 1/2 tsp
- cucumber - 1 item
- chopped red onion - 1/2 c
- sliced red onions - 1/4 item
- Then slice them in very thin pieces
- red-wine vinegar - 2 Tbsp
- salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste - 1 item
How to make cucumber salad:
Peel the cucumber and cut it across in two. Then slice them in very thin pieces. Put the sliced cucumber pieces in salt water, let it remain for a few minutes, then squeeze out all the water and put the cucumber into a dish; add the rest of ingredients and mix well together.Cucumber-Tomato Salad (Alternate Method):2 medium-sized cucumbers3 ripe tomatoes (3/4 lb.)1/2 c. chopped red onion2 Tbsp. chopped fresh dill2 Tbsp. red-wine vinegar4 Tbsp. olive oil1/2 tsp. ground cumin salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste Peel the cucumbers and split them in half. Scoop out the seeds with a spoon. Slice the cucumbers crosswise. There should be about 3 cups. Core the tomatoes and cut them into 1/2-inch cubes. There should be about 3 cups. Put the onion, dill, vinegar, oil, cumin, salt and pepper in a bowl. Beat briskly with a wire whisk. Add cucumbers and tomatoes. Toss well and serve.
