Cranberry chutney
Ingredients/Components
- packed brown sugar
- salt - 1 tsp
- water
- raisins - 1 c
- lemon juice - 1/4 c
- ground cloves - 1/4 tsp
- chopped pecans or walnuts - 1/2 c
- grated onion - 1 tsp
- fresh cranberries - 1 lb
- chopped candied ginger - 1/4 c
How to make cranberry chutney:
Combine all ingredients and bring to a boil. Simmer 20-30 minutes (stirring to keep from burning) until slightly thickened. Makes about 4 1/2 cups.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Sauces, Chutneys.
