Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • vegetable oil - 2 Tbsp
  • dry mustard - 1 tsp
  • pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp
  • mayonnaise - 3 Tbsp
  • large egg, beaten - 1 item
  • minced green onions - 1/4 c
  • crab meat, flaked and picked over, or 1 1/2 lb - 1 lb
  • fresh bread - 1 c
  • unflavored dry breadcrumbs - 1/2 c

How to make crab cakes:

Combine all except last 2 ingredients. Spread dry breadcrumbs on waxed paper. Shape mixture into 3-inch patties; cook 2 or 3 minutes per side.
