Cole slaw
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- oil - 1 c
- prepared mustard - 2 Tbsp
- small onion, chopped - 1 item
- apple cider vinegar - 1 c
- celery seed - 1/2 tsp
- green pepper, chopped - 1 item
- large head cabbage, shredded - 1 item
How to make cole slaw:
Combine first 3 ingredients in large mixing bowl. Mix sugar in and set aside. Meanwhile, bring vinegar, sugar, salt, celery seed and mustard to a boil. Remove from heat and add oil. Bring to boil again and pour over cabbage mixture. Refrigerate at least 2 days. Will keep for 2 weeks.Recipe categories: < 30 mins, Salads, 3 steps or less.
