  • sugar - 3 c
  • eggs - 5 item
  • milk - 1 c
  • flaked coconut - 1 c
  • all-purpose flour - 3 c
  • butter or oleo - 1/2 lb
  • lemon extract or 1 Tbsp - 1 tsp

How to make coconut pound cake:

Cream the butter and sugar thoroughly. Add eggs, one at a time, and beat after each addition. Add alternately the flour and milk; mix well. Stir in flavoring and mix until blended. Pour into greased and floured tube pan or Bundt pan. Bake at 325° (preheat) for 70 to 90 minutes.
