Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 3 item
- tsp salt - 1 item
- tbsp milk - 1 item
- c sugar - 1/4 item
- c flour - 4-1/2 item
- tsp sugar - 1 item
- tsp vanilla extract - 1/2 item
- c water, 105~-115~ - 1 item
- pkgs active dry yeast - 2 item
- c dry milk - 1/2 item
- c butter, softened - 1/2 item
- c honey - 1/4 item
- To dissolve yeast, add it and the 1 tsp sugar to the water and let stand for 5 minutes
- tsp ground cinnamon - 2 item
- Cinnamon Roll Glaze:1 tbsp butter
- c powdered sugar - 1 item
How to make cinnamon rolls:
Place the water in a large bowl. To dissolve yeast, add it and the 1 tsp sugar to the water and let stand for 5 minutes. Add dry milk, butter, honey, sugar, salt, eggs and 2 cups of flour. Blend together on low speed, then beat at medium speed for 3 minutes. Add the rest of the flour to make a soft dough. Knead until smooth and elastic with bread hooks or by hand, 5-10 minutes. Place in a greased bowl, cover and let rise in a warm place until it doubles in bulk. Punch down. Take half the dough and roll it into a 9x12 inch rectangle about 1/4 inch thick. Spread with half of the cinnamon sugar filling (recipe to follow). Roll up like a jelly roll, starting with 12 inch side. Cut into 1 inch slices and place on greased cookie sheets. Cover with a towel. Repeat process with the other half of the dough. Let the rolls rise until they double in bulk in a warm place. Bake at 375° for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from baking sheets to cooling racks.
