Ingredients/Components

  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • butter - 2 Tbsp
  • cocoa
  • baking powder - 2 tsp
  • cup flour - 1 item
  • cup chopped pecans - 3/4 item
  • cup hot water - 1 item
  • cup sugar - 3/4 item
  • cup milk - 3/4 item
  • cup cocoa - 1 item

How to make chocolate upside down cake:

Sift dry ingredients. Add butter, milk, pecans and vanilla. Beat 2 minutes. Pour in greased pan. Mix sugar and 1 cup cocoa and sprinkle over batter. Pour hot water over cake. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. Can be served with whipped cream.
