- egg - 1 item
- 6 oz - 1 c
- white cake mix - 1 (18
- salted peanuts - 3/4 c
- sugar can use Splenda - 1/4 c
- peanut butter, divided - 1 c
- milk 1%, 2% or whole - 1/3 c
How to make chocolate peanut bars:
In a mixing bowl, beat the cake mix, 2/3 cup peanut butter and egg until crumbly. Press into a greased 9 x 13 x 3-inch baking pan.In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese and remaining peanut butter. Gradually beat in milk and sugar or Splenda. Carefully spread over crust. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and peanuts. Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes or until edges are lightly browned and center is set. Cool completely before cutting. Store in refrigerator. Yields about 2 dozen.
