Chocolate chip cookies

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1 c
• eggs - 2 item
• vanilla - 2 tsp
• pkg - 1 oz
• salt
• flour - 2 c
• brown sugar - 1 c
• baking soda - 1 tsp
• Crisco - 1/2 c
• stick butter or margarine - 1 item

How to make chocolate chip cookies:

Cream together shortening, butter, eggs, sugar and vanilla until smooth. Sift together dry ingredients. Gradually add to blended mixture, mixing after each addition until smooth. Add chocolate chips and stir into batter. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto baking sheet. Bake at 375° for 8 minutes or until lightly browned.
