  • sugar - 1/4 c
  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • chopped nuts - 1 c
  • flour
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • firmly packed brown sugar - 3/4 c
  • soft butter - 1 c
  • 12 oz - 1 pkg
  • 4 serving size vanilla instant pudding mix - 1 pkg

How to make chocolate chip cookies:

Sift together flour and soda in small bowl. Combine butter, sugars, vanilla and the pudding mix in a large bowl. Beat until smooth and creamy. Beat in eggs. Gradually add flour and soda, then stir in chips and nuts. Batter will be stiff. Drop spoonfuls on ungreased cookie sheet 2 inches apart. Bake at 375° for 8 to 10 minutes. Makes 7 dozen.

For chocolate, chocolate chip cookies, substitute chocolate flavored instant pudding mix.
