Chinese chicken casserole
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- toasted almonds - 1/2 c
- lemon juice - 2 tsp
- chopped celery - 1 c
- soy sauce - 1 Tbsp
- dash of pepper - 1 item
- mayonnaise - 1 c
- chopped green onion - 1/4 c
- cubed, cooked chicken - 3 c
- can bean sprouts - 1 lb
- chow mein noodles - 1/3 c
- can water chestnuts - 1 oz
How to make chinese chicken casserole:
Sprinkle chicken with lemon juice and soy sauce. Chill 2 hours or longer. Add green onion, celery, chestnuts, bean sprouts, salt, pepper and mayonnaise. Mix lightly but thoroughly. Turn into greased 1 1/2-quart casserole and sprinkle with almonds and noodles. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, Casseroles.
