Ingredients/Components
- milk
- baking powder
- self-rising flour
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- chicken broth - 3 c
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- can peas and carrots, drained - 1 lb
- Pour crust over chicken mixture
- large fryer, cooked and cubed - 1 item
How to make chicken pot pie:
Combine ingredients and place in 9 x 12-inch pan. Pour crust over chicken mixture. Bake at 400° for 45 minutes to 1 hour, or until crust rises and browns.Crust:3/4 c. margarine or butter, melted1 1/2 c. milk1 1/2 tsp. baking powder1 1/2 c. self-rising flour Combine all ingredients and pour over chicken mixture; do not stir.Recipe categories: Casseroles, One Dish meal, Savory pies.
