Chicken mozzarella
Ingredients/Components
- flour - 3/4 c
- vegetable oil for frying - 1 item
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- Dash seasoning
- sliced Mozzarella cheese - 1 item
- chicken breast fillets - 4 item
- large can or jar spaghetti sauce - 1 item
- to 25 saltine crackers, crushed - 20 item
- well beaten egg, watered down - 1 item
- small box fettucini noodles - 1 item
How to make chicken mozzarella:
Combine crushed crackers, flour, salt, pepper and Mrs. Dash (seasonings to taste). Dip chicken fillets in egg and coat with cracker mixture. Fry chicken in large skillet (approximately 1/3 full of oil) until golden brown. Drain on paper towel-covered plate and top with cheese while still hot. While chicken is frying, prepare noodles as directed and warm spaghetti sauce. Serve chicken on a bed of noodles topped with spaghetti sauce.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, Chicken breast.
