Ingredients/Components
- chicken broth - 2 c
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- onions, diced - 2 item
- cans cream of chicken soup - 2 item
- corn tortillas
- chicken, cooked and diced - 1 item
- cans green chilies, chopped - 2 item
- Longhorn cheese - 1 lb
- sour cream, if desired - 1 item
- picante sauce, if desired - 1 item
How to make chicken enchiladas:
Combine soups, broth, chilies and onions. In a 9 x 13-inch pan, layer first the tortillas (torn in large strips), chicken, sauce mixture and cheese. Layer twice. Bake in a 350° oven for 30 to 45 minutes or until bubbly. Serve with side dishes of picante sauce and/or sour cream.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, Poultry.
