Chicken chow mein
Ingredients/Components
- cornstarch - 1/4 c
- ginger - 1/4 tsp
- chopped celery - 1 c
- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- can water chestnuts - 1 item
- chicken bouillon granules - 1 tsp
- fresh - 1 can
- reduced sodium chicken broth - 1 c
- cooked chicken, cut into 1-inch pieces - 1 lb
- medium pepper, chopped optional - 1 item
- soy sauce or more as needed - 1/4 c
- jar mushrooms, undrained - 1 oz
How to make chicken chow mein:
Saute onion, celery, green peppers and mushrooms in 1 1/2 cups chicken broth. Mix soy sauce, bouillon, ginger and water. Add all ingredients in saute pan. Heat thoroughly and serve on rice or chow mein noodles.Recipe categories: Chicken, Pasta, Main dish.
