Chicken casserole
Ingredients/Components
- stick margarine - 1 item
- Velveeta cheese - 1/2 lb
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- wide noodles - 2 3
- bell pepper - 1 c
- celery - 1 c
- broth - 1/2 c
- onions - 1 c
- stuffed olives - 10 item
- fryer or 4 breasts chunks
How to make chicken casserole:
Boil chicken until tender. Debone when cool. Reserve broth. Saute in margarine the bell pepper, celery and onions until tender. Add soup, olives, salt, pepper, 1/2 cup broth and 1/2 cheese. Heat until cheese melts. Bring salted broth to boil. Add water to broth to make enough liquid to cook 2 to 3 cups noodles. Add to vegetable and chicken mixture. Pour in lightly greased casserole. Cover with remaining cheese. Heat in 350° oven about 30 minutes or until cheese melts.Recipe categories: Main dish, Casseroles, Chicken breast.
