- milk - 1 item
- sticks butter - 2 item
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- large onion, diced - 1 item
- sliced carrots - 1 c
- seasoned flour - 1/4 c
- cubed Velveeta cheese - 1 c
- to 10 potatoes, peeled and diced - 8 item
How to make cheesy potato soup:
In butter, saut?© onion and carrots until tender over medium heat. Cook potatoes until tender, then add onion and carrots, including butter to cooked potatoes. Over medium heat, add enough milk to cover potatoes and add flour; stir. Cook 30 to 45 minutes, then add cheese and salt and pepper to taste. Cook until cheese is thoroughly melted.
