Ingredients/Components
- red pepper - 1 tsp
- sticks of butter - 2 item
- sifted self-rising flour - 4 c
- Cheddar cheese, sharp - 1 lb
How to make cheese straws:
Grate cheese, add red pepper. Work butter in and work flour in. Blending well. Put on floured boards and roll about 1/2 inch thick, press down with fork, cut in strips and cook in hot over, 425° about 10 minutes or until golden brown.
