Ingredients/Components
- flour - 4 Tbsp
- butter - 6 Tbsp
- heavy cream - 1 c
- paprika - 1/2 tsp
- chicken broth
- minced onion - 3/4 c
- chopped parsley - 1/4 c
- minced celery - 1/2 c
- white pepper - 1/8 tsp
- sherry - 2 Tbsp
- sharp Cheddar cheese - 3 c
- minced carrots - 3/4 c
- pinch of red pepper - 1 item
- dill to taste - 1 item
How to make cheese soup:
In a 3-quart saucepan, melt butter and saut?© carrots, onions and celery for 8 to 10 minutes. Sprinkle in flour and seasonings; blend well. Add chicken broth; stir until thick and smooth.
