Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 1 Tbsp
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 3 c
- butter - 2 c
- soda - 1 Tbsp
- grated carrots - 3 c
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- powdered sugar - 2 c
- chopped walnuts - 1/2 c
- raisins - 1 c
- Wesson oil
- Sift next 5 ingredients and add to mixture
How to make carrot cake:
Mix first 4 ingredients. Sift next 5 ingredients and add to mixture. Stir, then add walnuts and raisins. Bake 1 hour at 275° if you have a colored Bundt pan; if not, 300° in a greased and floured pan.Cream Cheese Frosting:8 oz. cream cheese2 c. butter2 c. powdered sugar1 tsp. vanilla Mix until smooth, spread over cooled cake.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Carrots.
