  • sugar - 2 c
  • cinnamon - 1 Tbsp
  • eggs - 4 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - 3 c
  • butter - 2 c
  • soda - 1 Tbsp
  • grated carrots - 3 c
  • baking powder - 2 tsp
  • powdered sugar - 2 c
  • chopped walnuts - 1/2 c
  • raisins - 1 c
  • Wesson oil
  • Sift next 5 ingredients and add to mixture

How to make carrot cake:

Mix first 4 ingredients. Sift next 5 ingredients and add to mixture. Stir, then add walnuts and raisins. Bake 1 hour at 275° if you have a colored Bundt pan; if not, 300° in a greased and floured pan.Cream Cheese Frosting:8 oz. cream cheese2 c. butter2 c. powdered sugar1 tsp. vanilla Mix until smooth, spread over cooled cake.
