Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- baking soda - 2 tsp
- vegetable oil
- shredded coconut - 1 c
- flour, sifted - 2 c
- walnuts, chopped - 1 c
- crushed pineapple, drained - 1 c
- raw carrots, shredded - 2 c
How to make carrot cake:
Beat eggs well. Then add the next 7 ingredients and beat until smooth. Stir in the coconut, nuts, pineapple and carrots with a mixing spoon. Pour into a greased 9 x 13-inch cake pan. Bake at 350° for 50 minutes.When cake is slightly warm, spread with cream cheese frosting.
