Caramel popcorn
Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- brown sugar - 2 c
- soda - 1/2 tsp
- margarine - 1 c
- light corn syrup - 1/2 c
- popcorn - 6 qt
How to make caramel popcorn:
Melt margarine. Stir in sugar, syrup and salt. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil 5 minutes without stirring. Remove from heat. Add soda and vanilla, gradually pouring over popcorn. Mix well. Bake at 250° one hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Cool. Store tightly covered.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Snacks, Grains.
