Ingredients/Components
- brown sugar - 1 c
- dash of salt - 1 item
- margarine - 3/4 c
- pecans - 1 c
- Waverly crackers - 1 pkg
How to make caramel crackers:
Preheat oven to 350°. Line a cookie sheet with aluminum foil. Place crackers on sheet side by side (do not overlap). In a small saucepan melt butter, sugar and salt until melted. Do not boil. Remove from heat and add pecans. Spoon over crackers, covering completely. Bake in oven for 10 minutes. Remove from heat, cool for a few minutes and remove to plate and serve.Recipe categories: < 4 hours, Lunch/snacks, Snacks.
