Cajun quiche


Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- eggs, beaten - 4 item
- whipping cream - 1 c
- green onions, finely chopped - 2 item
- cayenne pepper - 1/8 tsp
- Swiss cheese, grated - 1 c
- 10-inch deep dish pie shell
- cooked, peeled shrimp or crawfish, slightly chopped - 1/2 lb
- small can crabmeat, drained - 1 item
How to make cajun quiche:
Sprinkle cheese evenly over unbaked pie shell. Add chopped shrimp and crabmeat. Then add green onions. Mix eggs, whipping cream, salt and pepper. Pour over shrimp. Preheat oven to 400°. Place pie on cookie sheet and bake 40 minutes. Let stand a few minutes if not completely "set" in center.Recipe categories: Main dish, Savory pies, Turkey.
