Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1 c
- can sliced water chestnuts - 1 item
- grated cheese - 2 c
- mayonnaise - 2 Tbsp
- can cream of celery soup - 1 item
- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- chopped cabbage - 5 c
- stick margarine, melted - 1 item
- small box corn flakes, crushed - 1 item
How to make cabbage casserole:
Butter large rectangular Pyrex dish. Layer with crushed corn flakes (1/2). Mix all ingredients, except soup and cheese, and pour into dish. Cover with undiluted soup. Sprinkle with cheese. Top with remaining 1/2 of corn flakes; dot with butter. Bake for 40 minutes at 350°.Recipe categories: Main dish, Casseroles, Ground beef.
