Butternut squash casserole



Ingredients/Components
- vanilla extract - 1 tsp
- chopped walnuts - 1/3 c
- white sugar - 1/2 c
- ground cinnamon - 1 tsp
- ground nutmeg - 1/8 tsp
- margarine, melted - 1/4 c
- can crushed pineapple with juice - 8 oz
- mashed, cooked butternut squash - 3 c
How to make butternut squash casserole:
Preheat oven to 325°. Grease one 2 quart casserole dish and set aside. Combine the butternut squash, white sugar, brown sugar, margarine, pineapple, cinnamon, vanilla, and nutmeg. Mix well and pour into casserole dish. Sprinkle with chopped nuts and bake for 40-45 minutes. Makes 6 servings.Recipe categories: Side dish, Vegetables, Casseroles.
