Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 Tbsp
- salt - 3/4 tsp
- soda - 1/4 c
- buttermilk - 1 c
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- Crisco - 2 Tbsp
- warm water - 1 c
- yeast - 1 pkg
How to make buttermilk rolls:
Dissolve yeast in 1/4 cup lukewarm water with 1/4 teaspoon sugar. Mix all other ingredients with the buttermilk and warm water. Pour in the dissolved yeast. Add enough flour to make a stiff dough.
