Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 3 item
- flour - 1/4 c
- buttermilk - 1 c
- stick butter - 1/2 item
- dash of nutmeg - 1 item
How to make buttermilk pie:
Cream the butter and sugar. Add the eggs and flour to sugar. Fold the buttermilk and nutmeg into mixture. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake for 50 minutes at 350°. Makes 2 (9-inch) pies or 1 deep dish pie.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
