Buttercream icing
Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 1/2 c
- butter or oleo - 1/2 c
- + 2 Tbsp - 1/2 c
- flour level - 2 Tbsp
How to make buttercream icing:
Mix together milk and flour; cook over very low heat until thickened. Let cool. Take butter and sugar and cream until fluffy, then add the cooled milk and flour mixture and beat until smooth and creamy. Add vanilla (can use lemon juice and yellow food coloring for a change); blend again.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Cake fillings and frostings.
