Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- egg yolk - 1 item
- butter 2 sticks * - 1/2 lb
How to make butter cookies:
Put together in order given. Pat out on cookie sheet. Press 1/2 cup finely chopped pecans on top. Moisten top with unbeaten egg white. Bake at 325° for 30 minutes. Cut while warm; let cool in pan.*Tastes better if you use real butter.
