Ingredients/Components

  • boiling water - 2 c
  • chopped onion - 1/2 c
  • chopped celery - 1/2 c
  • bulgur wheat - 1 c
  • chopped bell pepper - 1/2 c
  • can kidney beans - 1 item
  • Italian salad dressing - 1/3 c
  • seasoned salt to taste - 1 item
  • can whole corn - 1 item

How to make bulgur salad:

Put bulgur wheat in bowl. Add boiling water; let stand 1 hour. Drain and return to bowl. Add all other ingredients and refrigerate.

Can be varied by adding shrimp, chicken or small chunks of cheese. Serve on a nest of lettuce for a great lunch.
