Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 2 c
  • eggs - 4 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • milk - 1/4 c
  • flour - 1 c
  • stick margarine - 1 item
  • vanilla flavoring - 1 tsp
  • evaporated milk - 1/2 c
  • cocoa - 1/2 c
  • Crisco - 1/2 c
  • nuts optional - 1 c
  • Add eggs, beat well

How to make brownies:

Blend together sugar, Crisco and margarine until fluffy. Add eggs, beat well. Add, at once, flour, cocoa, milk and vanilla flavoring. Bake in greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan at 350° for 25 minutes.Frosting for Brownies:1 box powdered sugar1 stick margarine1/4 c. milk3 Tbsp. cocoa1 tsp. vanilla Mix all ingredients together. Spread on brownies before cooling. Let cool in pan.
