Broccoli quiche
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- salt - 1 tsp
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- water - 1 Tbsp
- nutmeg - 1/8 tsp
- light cream - 1 c
- 9-inch pie shell - 1 item
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- Parmesan cheese - 1 c
- bread crumbs - 1/2 c
- medium onion - 1 item
- tomatoes - 3 item
- broccoli - 2 c
- Swiss cheese, chopped - 1/2 c
How to make broccoli quiche:
Steam the broccoli, chopped onion, butter and water. Set aside. Combine 1 cup light cream, eggs, salt, pepper, nutmeg and cheeses. Add broccoli. Line bottom of pie shell with tomato slices. Pour a layer of broccoli mixture. Repeat with tomato slices until done. Cover the top with bread crumbs. Bake in a 350° oven for 1 hour.Recipe categories: Appetizers, Vegetables, Broccoli.
