Braised sirloin tips
Ingredients/Components
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
- water - 3/4 c
- cloves garlic, minced - 2 item
- soy sauce - 2 Tbsp
- mushrooms, sliced
- salt to taste - 1 item
- red wine - 3/4 c
- cooked rice - 1 item
- onion, chopped finely - 1/2 item

How to make braised sirloin tips:
Saute mushrooms in butter until lightly browned. Spoon into 3-quart casserole. Add meat to skillet and brown. Spoon over mushrooms. Combine 3/4 cup water, wine, soy sauce, garlic and onion; add to skillet, scraping bottom to salvage particles. Blend cornstarch with 1/3 cup water, stir into wine mixture. Cook, stirring constantly until thickened. Spoon over meat. Cover and bake at 325° for 1 hour. Add salt to taste. Bake 10 to 15 minutes longer.
