Blueberry cake
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 3 c
- butter - 1 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- fresh blueberries or 2 c - 1 pt
How to make blueberry cake:
Preheat oven to 325°. Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time. Beat until fluffy. Add vanilla.Sift dry ingredients together. Set aside 1 cup of flour mixture. Add remaining flour mixture to batter. Beat well. Dredge berries in reserved flour mixture. Fold gently into batter. Spoon into greased and sugared tube pan. Bake for 1 1/4 hours.
