  • round steak sliced 3/8-inch thick - 3 lb

How to make beef burgundy:

Noodles:16 oz. egg noodles, cooked1 (24 oz.) cottage cheese1 (16 oz.) sour cream2 sticks butter Sauce:2 cans golden mushroom soup2 c. red wine (Burgundy)2 cans mushroom stems and pieces2 pkg. dry onion soup mix In heavy Dutch oven, combine meat with all sauce ingredients. Cover and bake in a 325° oven for 3 hours.

Meanwhile, in a bowl, mix noodles with cottage cheese, sour cream and butter. Pour into a 13 x 9-inch cake pan and bake for 30 minutes at 325°. Remove from oven. Serve sauce over noodles.
