Ingredients/Components
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- bay leaf - 1 item
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- tomato paste - 2 Tbsp
- Burgundy wine - 3 c
- thyme - 1/2 tsp
- large carrots - 3 item
- large onions - 2 item
- cloves of garlic, chopped - 3 item
- cans beef bouillon - 2 item
- bacon, cut into pieces - 1/2 lb
- beef, cut in small cubes - 3 lb
- small white onions I use frozen onions - 24 item
- fresh mushrooms, sauteed in butter or 1 large can mushrooms - 1 lb
How to make beef burgundy:
Filling: Peel and cook potatoes until soft; drain off water and mash. Add 1 (8 ounce) can sauerkraut or add 1/2 pound cheese to mashed potatoes with 1 teaspoon pepper.Recipe categories: Main dish, Meat, Beef.
